Manatee - Otherwise known as a "sea cow", this mammal's shape resembles that of a seal with a flat, rounded tail. Adults range in color from gray to brown. The Manatee can reach a length of 12.7 feet and can weigh up to 3,500 pounds, although most are less than 10 feet long and weigh less than 2,000 pounds. The Manatee lives in fresh water, brackish, and marine habitats, and in either muddy or clear water.
